Si14 presents three new products based on the new Intel ATOM and Intel EP80579 processors.

The three new products are

• Mirach (Intel ATOM module)
• Mizar (Intel EP80579 integrated processor module)
• Megrez (development board for the above modules)

 

 

"Intelligenza Coraggiosa": the evaluation committee composed of Prof. Ruggero Frezza, President of M31, and Prof. Luca Schenato of the Department of Information Engineering and by Francesco Carobolante, Senior Manager at Fairchild Semiconductors met and started the evaluation procedure of the received proposals.

M31 receives 12 high quality research projects, submitted to the "Intelligenza Coraggiosa" grant, opened last April 28^th.

The winning project will be announced on July, 30^th.

Ruggero Frezza, together with CenterVue and M31 colleagues, is hosted and interviewed on RAI International.

May 2-15th, 2008 - Videotec SpA presents “Albert”, the revolutionary videosurveillance system jointly developed with M31 SpA. 

Held in Birmingham, UK, IFSEC 2008 is the major videosurveillance and security exhibition. 

Albert represents a revolution in videosurveillance applications, thanks to some of its features (scalability, automatic cooperation between monitoring stations, advanced event detection algorithms, learning capatibility).

M31 participates to the Intel CEO Summit.

The CEO Summit held by Intel is the principal event of Intel Capital, Intel's Venture Capital society.

Si14 establishes an important partnership with Silica. Goals of the partnership include the design and manufacturing of development boards and reference design for all new Intel chips (including the newest Atom).

M31 starts the "Due Chiacchiere per Dolce" set of seminars, held in M31 headquarters in Padua.

Professor Giuseppe Tondello from the University of Padua will open the first seminar.

M31 creates  EyeKnowledgeNetwork , which will soon become an innovative new medicine portal.
