M31 Software R&D Division
M31 R&D Division includes a
team of 20 ICT engineers, concentrating on software development for
embedded systems, custom hardware/software ICT solutions and web
application design.
The skills of the M31 ICT R&D team are:
- the development of firmware and software solutions specially aimed to embedded systems.
- the design of widely deployable applications and advanced graphical interfaces for Windows, Linux, Symbian S60 or MacOS based systems.
- the development of multimedia applications and multimedia content distribution frameworks.
- the design of distributed web architectures and web
applications for embedded system based data intensive applications.
- study and design of physical or virtual server based intrastructures.
M31 R&D ICT division has two engineering teams:
- the embedded solution development team has a strong expertise
in Nokia Qt C++ framework, GUI design and in open source technologies
such as the Linux kernel and Linux-based distributions and applications;
- the web design team focuses on Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Python, PHP, Javascript and Java solutions.
The two team can quickly combine to develop modern desktop/web distributed solutions.
Our particular shared-development style allows M31 partners to be part
of the software development cycle, easing advanced staff training and
real technology transfer.
