How

At M31 we have defined and we continuously improve processes and methods to keep the entrepreneurial risk under control and to develop high added value and high growth rate new enterprises operating in the global market.

Our potential partners are:

inventors, proposed entrepreneurs;
business angels;
existing companies looking for new markets and new products;
young graduate or PhDs looking for creative challenges and those who wants to be part in starting new businesses and new companies;
research institutions with which we develop agreements for technology transfer and for educating to the entrepreneurial spirit;
anyone who is interested in starting, supporting, contributing, investing in o collaborating with new entrepreneurial initiatives.

For each new idea and business proposition we define, together with our partners:

The business plan;
The development strategy of the relevant new company
The suitable alliances that can be of help for this particular venture
The necessary IP strategy and its practical implementation by applying for all relevant patents

We then select the academic centers of excellence featuring technologies relevant to the new business opportunity and define the associated collaboration agreements.

We recruit under-graduate, post-graduate students or PhDs and we support the development phases by our internal team of professionals in various disciplines.

We start the marketing strategy and the new enterprise is developed as an internal division of M31 thus keeping the maximum degree of flexibility to then configure the company well adapted to the real necessity of the business.

The new Company is eventually incorporated when the team is complete and when investors manifest interest; the new company is still hosted in M31’s facilities and exploits all the available synergies with other companies of the M31 Group until it grows to a size that requires own offices and premises.
